That is a very memorable quote for anyone who has seen or heard about Appliance Direct. I know they are only located in Florida and they won't ship out of state but this is definately my favorite appliance store. I discovered a commercial for this store while on my senior trip in Florida and it quickly became a big joke for almost everyone in my school. The infomercial is great, it is seriously funnier than most movies. The best thing is, the website not only has videos for most of the infomercial but there is some extra stuff and some of them are even downloadable. Go to the site and watch the videos. It will have you repeating such classic lines as "That's wakie nu nu" and it will make you ask all your friends "Have you ever seen a plastic toilet?". Definately check it out.

ASK A NINJA ("I look forward to killing you soon") www.askaninja.com
This may very well be one of the funniest sites on the web. An awesome ninja reveals insight into the ninja world by answering questions in a three to four minute video. A new one is posted every week and all the old ones are still on there. The answers are ridiculous and genius at the same time. Think Ron Burgundy in a Ninja costume answering stupid questions. The editing is also really cool because the camera changes angles evry few seconds and they use the angles to add to the humor. You have to see it for yourself to truly understand. If you feel you can handle the awesome power of the ninja without your head exploding, check it out.

CHRISTOPHER WALKEN FOR PRESIDENT www.walken2008.com
I am not sure if this site is for real but I know who I want to vote for in 2008. Christopher Walken is actually affiliated with this site so there is a chance of him running. If it is true, I will be sure to watch every debate and every State of the Union address if he wins. Check out the site and read his platform, written by Mr. walken himself. I must say, he has quite a few good ideas. See for yourself.

This is the company I used to order the On My Own Productions t-shirts available in the store. This is really the best site in my opinion to order custom t-shirts from. The prices are low and the shirts are very high quality. The easy to use website makes it easy to design the perfect shirt and the selection is amazing. The customer service was very helpful and it only takes two weeks and shipping is free. They also offer custom printing on other products as well. If you need something custom printed, I recommend using Custom Ink.

This is a great band based out of Staten Island. I ha dthe pleasure of seeing them play live at FYE in the Staten Island mall back when FYE had live shows. The show was great and unfortunately I was one of the only people to stay through the entire show. They played several of their own songs as well as many great covers. After the show I purchased their debut album radiate and got them all to sign it. I also started talking to Alan (vocals, guitar, keyboard and bass) and told him about the show I was supposed to do for CTV. This was back when I was in training to develop my own show for community television but due to unknown reasons, that never came about. Anyway, Alan gave me his phone number so that the group could play on my show. That never happened but I still have the number. I never called it but I hope to someday. Their songs are great and I hope to use some of them in their movies. Their site ahs not been updated in a while but check it out and support local music.

Troma Entertainment www.troma.com
Troma is the longest running independent film company and one of the best. They have built a reputation on gross out humor, extreme violence and exploitation. The films are often controversial and funny and they are well known in the cult film world. Lloyd Kaufman is considered an independent film icon and he is one of my personal favorites. Many hollywood celebrities began their career with Troma although they may try to escape that fact. Support Independent Cinema !

View Askew Productions is Kevin Smith's film company. As you probably already know, he is my first celebrity interview and for that, View Askew ahs a special place in my heart. Even before the intervie wthough, I have been a huge fan of Kevin Smiths and I had considered him my favorite filmmaker. Check out his site to see what he is currently doing. He is truly a renaissance man, except for music. (but who really knows, maybe he sings in the shower, he can definately dance though) He is a writer, director, actor, public speaker, comic book writer and an all around nice guy. He is great with his fans and a self proclaimed press whore. There is a lot of great stuf on this site and it is updated almost daily so this is one that should definately be in your favorites, perhaps right under this site.
